About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires a balance of patient interaction, clinical procedures, and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient daily operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
• 2–3 years of overall experience preferred
• Proven experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Experience working with EMR systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
• BLS or CPR Certification
• Front & Back Office Operations
• Phlebotomy
• EKG
• Point-of-Care Testing
• Scheduling & Patient Coordination
• Patient Rooming & Vital Signs Monitoring

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Experience in Occupational Health

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner
• Take and document vital signs accurately
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture
• Administer vaccines and assist with clinical procedures
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments
• Prepare and stock exam rooms to ensure readiness
• Support efficient clinical workflows and patient throughput
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment
• Support patient education and wellness initiatives
• Promote preventive care practices
• Participate in community-focused healthcare efforts
