About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced clinic.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience (no externship)
- Strong front & back office experience
- Experience with phlebotomy, EKG, POC, and EMR systems
- Good communication and multitasking skills
- BLS or CPR certification required
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Occupational Health experience
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients; take vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, vaccines, and POC testing
- Assist providers with procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Handle calls and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
