The PCS2 acts as a friendly, helpful resource to clients and community partners. They represent the Foundation and promote the program in the community to foster growth, develop community resources, engage and retain clients. As part of their work with community organizations, the PCS2 builds and nurtures relationships with agencies that offer additional support services. The PCS2 plays an important role in the continuum of HIV care. Their duties include, but are not limited to: Program development and growth, monitoring of all metrics, guaranteeing a positive client experience, working with team members to ensure retention in care, managing daily operations (i.e. supplies, schedules), managing maintenance logs and upkeep of the unit, providing phlebotomy and nursing services to the client and working with the Regional Director to ensure grant compliance. Additionally, PCS2 also works very closely with internal departmental partner and well as identifying external partners to meet the needs of the clients. By assisting individuals with mobile healthcare services and providing compassionate and non-judgmental customer service, the Mobile Clinic program staff enables AHF to be of service to the community by providing support to individuals at a critical and potentially overwhelming moment. The ultimate goal of AHF’s Mobile Clinic program is to assist clients secure and maintain stable and consistent healthcare, resulting in improved outcomes.
