Medical Appointment Specialist (MAS) Starting rate $19-$22
Opportunities for pay increase based on education and shift differentials. 18+ years old, with agency-approvable driver’s license.
No prior experience or diploma required. We provide all the training you need!

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Agency-approvable driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Transport and assist residents on medical appointments.
• Ensure all relevant medical information is obtained prior to the appointments and communicated at appointment.
• Obtain necessary information from medical providers at appointment and thoroughly communicate to appropriate Arc Herkimer staff in a timely manner.
• Provide care and services, including but not limited to personal hygiene care, toileting, feeding, bathing, lifting, transferring and behavior management techniques as required.
• Professionally communicating issues of concern which occur while working at a home or on medical appointments immediately and thoroughly to oncoming shift or other staff as appropriate
• Provide companionship, assist in emergency situations, and maintain health & wellness
