Right now, we're looking for a stellar Media Supervisor who'll lead the team in bringing that transformation to life through cross-channel, integrated campaigns. What you'll do: The Media Strategist is responsible for developing, presenting, and optimizing media strategies that deliver on client objectives and drive measurable results. This role combines analytical thinking, creativity, and collaboration to design fully integrated media plans across traditional and digital channels. The ideal candidate is adept at translating marketing goals into actionable media programs, leveraging data and industry insights, and fostering strong relationships with both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities Requirements: Day to day, that looks something like this: Develop media strategies that align with client objectives, audience insights, and budget requirements. Create and present comprehensive media plans across channels including TV, audio, print, digital (including lead gen), social, and emerging platforms. Analyze market research, consumer data, and historical campaign performance to inform recommendations. Collaborate with account, creative, and activation teams to ensure media strategies are integrated with overall campaign direction. Stay current with media trends, new technologies, and best practices; proactively incorporate innovative solutions. Manage relationships with media vendors and partners, negotiating rates and placements to maximize client value. Oversee campaign execution and optimization, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of KPIs. Monitor, report, and analyze campaign performance; provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Prepare and deliver client presentations and reports in a clear, compelling manner. Located in Chicago. Participate in new business pitches and agency initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in media planning, buying, or strategy (agency experience strongly preferred).
  • Recent or current experience supporting B2B clients and strategies is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of all media channels (traditional, digital, programmatic, social, etc.).
  • Proficient with media research/planning tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, MRI, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a passion for media and marketing innovation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.
