Media Buyer

About The Position

At Marketing Architects, we believe TV advertising is still the most powerful marketing channel. But the typical process for TV is expensive, difficult to scale and to measure. So we flipped the traditional approach on its head and rebuilt the agency model with the client in mind. Today, we're growing a team of talent from across the United States to reimagine how brands advertise on TV. ROLE OVERVIEW Media buying is changing fast and this role sits at the center of it. As a Media Buyer on our Media Investment team, you'll own campaign outcomes across linear and streaming TV, operating and challenging AI-driven buying systems alongside a team that's actively rethinking how media decisions get made. You'll partner closely with strategy, analytics and platform teams and report to the Senior Director of Media Investment. This role is for someone who brings curiosity and ownership to an environment where the tools, processes and expectations are evolving in real time.

Requirements

  • TV Media buyer: You have 2+ years buying and optimizing campaigns across linear and/or programmatic TV.
  • AI-native operator: You use AI daily, not just for basic tasks, but to make faster and smarter buying decisions.
  • Systems-minded thinker: You think in systems and naturally trace how a change in one variable ripples through a whole campaign.
  • Data-driven buyer: You don't take outputs at face value. You validate, pressure-test and push back when something doesn't add up.
  • Outcome-oriented owner: You own your numbers. When performance is off, you're already diagnosing it, not waiting to be asked.
  • Builder mindset: You'd rather build a better workflow than repeat a broken one.

Responsibilities

  • Own campaign outcomes: Manage performance, budget allocation and delivery across linear and streaming campaigns to ensure they hit business goals and execute as planned.
  • Operate AI buying systems: Run, validate and challenge AI-driven buying tools to ensure outputs align with strategy and performance expectations.
  • Diagnose and solve performance issues: Identify risks, spot anomalies in data inputs and outputs, uncover root causes and implement solutions to improve efficiency and results.
  • Drive smarter investments: Surface opportunities to scale spend and improve performance, bringing clear data-backed recommendations to strategy and leadership.

Benefits

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental and disability, with vision option
  • Traditional and Roth 401(k) with a 4% company match
  • Flexible paid time off, 9 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays
  • Paid parental leave
  • Annual office supply allowance, monthly internet stipend and employer-paid cell phone
  • Opportunities to connect virtually and in-person twice a year with our fully remote team
