About The Position

The Mechanical Test Technician – Liquid Cooling Systems supports factory testing and validation of Secondary Fluid Network piping structures. This role focuses on mechanical and fluid-related testing activities, including piping preparation, filling, air purging, flushing, and inspection of Liquid Cooling manifolds prior to shipment. The technician works closely with electrical test teams and utilizes site-provided fluid circulation equipment to safely execute approved test procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Background in HVAC, mechanical systems, pipe fitting, plumbing, or industrial fluid systems
• Hands-on experience with piping, hoses, valves, pumps, or fluid circulation equipment
• Ability to read and follow mechanical schematics, test procedures, and work instructions
• Basic understanding of Electrical control systems
• Strong safety awareness when working around pressurized systems and electrical equipment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Liquid Cooling Systems or Data Center Infrastructure
• Experience in Factory testing, commissioning, Equipment Validation, or Quality Control
• Familiarity with glycol/water-based solutions
• Familiarity with Air Purge Process
• Mechanical or HVAC Certification, or equivalent hands-on experience

Responsibilities

• Setup and support of factory fluid testing on modular Liquid Cooling piping structures
• Operate and maintain site provided fluid circulation units and ancillary equipment
• Perform system fill, air purge, and circulation activities per approved test procedures
• Inspect pipe assemblies for quality and cleanliness before they are shipped to customer
• Verify manifold readiness and document test results in accordance with factory standards
• Coordinate with electrical test technicians during integrated testing activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized test area
