Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years hands-on mechanical or electronic technician experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with machine and hand tools
  • Working knowledge of thermocouples, pressure sensors and other types of sensing equipment
  • Understanding of basic circuits
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or some advanced education in a technical field preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in an experimental or prototype testing environment

Responsibilities

  • Create and fabricate test stands, jigs and fixtures as needed to perform product testing.
  • Instrument parts under test (using thermocouples, pressure sensors, accelerometers, etc.)
  • Analyze parts and assemblies under test for potential failures/weak areas.
  • Document test procedures and results in a professional manner
