About The Position

In this position, you’ll be an integral part of our field operations, providing essential support across a wide range of construction, mechanical, and industrial projects. This is a hands-on position that combines your mechanical know-how with your general understanding of construction trades, making each day different and exciting. You’ll have the chance to work on projects across diverse industries, including construction, manufacturing, power plants, oil and gas, wind energy, solar, and more. Whether it’s in factories, production plants, or industrial facilities, you’ll be applying your skills to meaningful projects that shape the future of energy and infrastructure. A solid understanding of industrial construction is key to success in this role, and we’ll help you build on that knowledge while getting you up to speed with the innovative products and services we offer at Beitzel Corporation. Expect a dynamic work environment where flexibility is important, as your role may involve extensive travel, out-of-town assignments, and a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and sometimes night shifts.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant mechanical, construction, pipe insulation, or solar installation experience preferred
Possesses a mechanical aptitude with prior experience in commercial/industrial mechanical fields
Proficient in setting bearings, performing alignments, setting structural steel, etc. preferred
Valid driver’s license preferred
Proficient with using basic hand tools
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
In accordance with The Company’s Drug and Alcohol policy, employees are required to participate in random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested.

Responsibilities

Perform concrete work, rebar, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, and general labor as required
Perform structural steel installation
Operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc.
Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, plumb bobs, etc.
Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures
