About The Position

HG USA is hiring for an experienced Mechanical Manager in West Lafayette, IN. This position will direct the efficient and effective completion of mechanical work ensuring compliance of design documents and local regulations of the project. Directs the supervision consultant and contractors to achieve the project goal in terms of program, commercial and technical up the hand over the project. Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience, with 5 plus years in similar roles.
  • Expert in construction project management, and mechanical engineering.
  • Strong business ethics, integrity, and ability to perform in highly autonomous environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and local officials.
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment, while handling large volumes of work and multi-tasking.
  • Bilingual English-Korean technical speaking required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical works in conjunction with the supervision team and the contractors.
  • Mechanical work schedule and progress including utilities connection and partial handover schedule for fit out contractor with the client coordination.
  • Initiate review of mechanical tender design and construction design for MEP director of PM.
  • Manager mechanical design and changes including verification of cost and time impact on the project.
  • Manager mechanical technical, quality and safety issues.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for permits and licenses relating to mechanical work completion.
  • Prepare periodic and non-periodic reports with respect to mechanical work progress and technical issues.
