MECHANICAL INSULATOR HELPER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Summary: Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in installing insulation on pipes, ductwork, tanks, and other mechanical systems under the supervision of a lead insulator. Hold, measure, cut, and prepare insulation materials such as fiberglass, elastomeric, and foam. Help secure insulation using adhesives, bands, wires, and fasteners as directed. Assist with sheet metal jacketing and cladding installations. Learn to read basic blueprints and understand mechanical system layouts. Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail. Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Trade work license or certification required.
- Similar experience is required.
- Vaild driver's license
