Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in an engineering program at an accredited college or university
  • You have completed 2+ years (Junior or Senior) at an accredited college or university
  • You are in good academic standing

Responsibilities

  • Create and revise 2D engineering drawings using CAD software
  • Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Design and detail small mechanical components for industrial machinery
  • Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Gain hands-on exposure in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Collect, analyze, and report engineering data
  • Create technical reports, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Excel
  • Work with large data sets, organizing information into clear, presentable formats
  • Assist Controls Engineers during machine build, testing, and start-up
  • Take and interpret measurements using multimeters, pressure gauges, and load cells
  • Support component selection activities for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Research and evaluate components for design incorporation
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and technical specifications
  • Read and interpret vendor quotes and customer specification documents
  • Participate in customer and internal engineering calls to understand requirements and design impact
  • Attend project meetings and present updates on assigned tasks and deliverables
