Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on Building Engineering projects at either our Madison, WI or Denver, CO office starting in May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must have completed at least four semesters of college-level coursework in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering or a relevant degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A valid driver's license and occasional travel will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in HVAC and/or plumbing related projects
  • Experience with Revit software
  • Experience working in a design team setting

Responsibilities

  • 3D building systems modeling
  • HVAC software applications
  • Load calculations
  • Preparing reports and studies
  • Coordinating with design team members
  • Occasionally assisting project engineers with site surveys
  • May assist with building commissioning
  • Other tasks as assigned
