Requirements

Attending an accredited University studying toward a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum rising junior in standing
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Knowledge of project planning methodologies such as critical path planning.
Knowledge of computers and database/spreadsheet/ word processing software
Knowledge of basic query functions for the purpose of report creation
Knowledge of PowerPoint and basic presentation tools
Excellent communications skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision
Ability to work with wide range of people

Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineering Design and Development utilizing 2D/3D CAD Tools
Design electric meter hardware including plastics, metals and PCB electronics
Use engineering tools to measure accuracy and quality of designs and prototypes
Perform troubleshooting and provide support to Sr. Mechanical Engineers.
Additional duties and responsibilities include vendor coordination, parts selection or other duties required based on organization needs
