Requirements

  • Attending an accredited University studying toward a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum rising junior in standing
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Knowledge of project planning methodologies such as critical path planning.
  • Knowledge of computers and database/spreadsheet/ word processing software
  • Knowledge of basic query functions for the purpose of report creation
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and basic presentation tools
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with wide range of people

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Engineering Design and Development utilizing 2D/3D CAD Tools
  • Design electric meter hardware including plastics, metals and PCB electronics
  • Use engineering tools to measure accuracy and quality of designs and prototypes
  • Perform troubleshooting and provide support to Sr. Mechanical Engineers.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities include vendor coordination, parts selection or other duties required based on organization needs
