About The Position

2026 OTJ Summer Mechanical Engineering Intern Qualifications, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: College Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited mechanical engineering program Proficiency in AutoCAD, In Design, Photoshop, Revit (preferred) Assist with the drafting of Mechanical and Plumbing Systems associated with Construction Documentation. Assist with developing internal load calculations using Trace 700 Load Calculation Software. Asist with the development of outside air/Ventilation Calculations. Participate in field observations at various project sites around the DMV area. Full-time, paid position A successful candidate is proactive and able to remain flexible while delivering high quality work in a deadline-driven environment. Requirements

  • College Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited mechanical engineering program
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, In Design, Photoshop
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills: outgoing and personable
  • Highly motivated, creative and collaborative
  • Must be organized and attentive to detail
  • Completed coursework related to heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
