About The Position

We are seeking dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineering Intern for our San Diego office full-time during the summer months of 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your chosen field! The ideal candidate will be a student who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, learn about computer analysis software systems, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Enrolled in BSME or BS Architectural Engineering with mechanical emphasis
• Three years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate mechanical engineering degree.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
• Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with architectural design and execution.
• Experience working with AutoCAD and/or REVIT (preferred).
• Previous construction and/or customer service experience (preferred).
• EIT (preferred).
