The CEPG Engineering Intern assists in the documentation, development, support, assembly, and design of new or updated jigs, fixtures, machines, and processes. Highlights of your role · DESIGN/CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT- Assist in or manage the design of fixtures, tooling, process, and equipment. Detail and annotate models and drawings to Marvin standards. Create pneumatic schematics/drawings to support internal builds and updates. · PROJECT MANAGEMENT- Assist with management and planning for work with engineering or maintenance departments to ensure projects are meeting the budgetary and timeline constraints required. · COMMUNICATION - Work with Design Engineers and Project managers to ensure designs and detailing meet the requirements of the project. Communicate equipment, jig, process, and product changes proactively. Communicate with vendors to quote and procure components and equipment. · DOCUMENTATION-- Maintain all necessary documentation for projects including but not limited to detailed mechanical and electrical schematics, control system logic, associated manufacturing/process literature, and budgets. Set up and maintain file structures within Inventor vault. Organize and update a CEG Standard Parts Library. Develop and sustain a folder structure that is user friendly and intuitive. Download and convert purchased parts to functional iParts within Vault. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
