About The Position

Help X-ES meet the thermal and structural challenges of producing embedded computing products that operate in rugged environments–including for industrial, military, and aerospace customers. Gain real-world experience in product design by creating 3D models and 2D drawings while supporting design verification efforts through experimental testing, simulation, and data analysis. This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility from January – August 2027 for a Spring/Summer Co-Op. A co-op typically requires students to take a semester off of school to accommodate. X-ES is proud of its strong university partnerships and offers multiple student opportunities each year. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Engineering, or a closely related field

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience using 3D CAD tools such as Creo, Solidworks, or NX is preferred
  • Completion of or current enrollment in Heat Transfer coursework is a plus
  • Prior experience utilizing Python scripts for data analysis is a plus
  • Prior experience with mechanical testing or microscopy is a plus
