Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site. Reporting to the Senior Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams. What a typical day looks like: Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD Assist in writing working instructions, check list and other documents related to manufacturing equipment Help research and recommend support equipment required for continuous production Help design and monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projects Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment: Junior/Senior undergrad student pursuing Mechanical Engineering major
Requirements
- 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks) experience
- Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the assignment term
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
Nice To Haves

- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience a plus!
Responsibilities
