About The Position
Manufacturing Engineering Co-op is an opportunity for an Engineering student to work alongside senior engineers in all areas of operations support. This role will be responsible for individual and team assignments and will work with cross-functional teams to develop the processes, fixtures, and components that help our team build our quality products.
Requirements
- 2+ years of undergraduate work towards a major in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Skills in MS Office, Outlook, internet, etc.
- Clear written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be able to learn fast and multitask
Nice To Haves
- Prior professional internships, relevant Lab or University experience a plus
- Basic SolidWorks experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with documentation and implementation of Automation projects.
- Print revisions
- BOM revisions
- Release/Revise of documentation
- Work Instructions
- Test Protocols
- Test Reports
- Assembly Fit and WI improvements
- Design, print, & evaluate tools to reduce hand-strain and improve throughput.
- Assembly tolerance stackups/improvements
