As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be expected to research, plan, design and develop ground support mechanical products and systems for the Next Generation Interceptor program. Other duties may include: Testing support Supplier interface Production support

Requirements

  • Self-motivating
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD design
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Ground Support Equipment
  • Familiarity with AWS D17.1 and AIAA S114 Specs
  • Knowledge of Geometric Design and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Use of CREO CAD software
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent fields (systems engineering, electronics, stress/thermal analysis, configuration management, production, test, quality…)
  • Desire and ability to own technical challenges through solution.
