About The Position

The Mechanical EIT collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, supports construction-phase services, performs field observations as needed, and contributes to maintaining compliance with applicable codes and standards. The position is focused on technical development, project support, and progression toward professional licensure. This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • EIT obtained or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent client and team communication.
  • Possess the ability to adapt and adjust as challenges present themselves.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful in solving challenges in mechanical engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Revit/BIM is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in engineering efforts of design calculations, system layout and sizing for HVAC and plumbing.
  • Prepare engineering documents for routine projects accurately and effectively.
  • Assists with construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
  • Uses computerized design software, including Autodesk Revit, and other relevant computerized tools to prepare design assignments.
  • Collaborate with team members on design specifications and timelines.
  • Perform field construction observation work when necessary, under minimal supervision.
  • Work with our industry experts to develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs for public and private clients.
