About The Position

The successful applicant will perform mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, antennas, radomes, support structures, flight qualified hardware, composite/metallic component/structures, full scale RCS/RF test fixtures, and will provide support to other classified activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V5, 3DExperience, or similar CAD experience.
  • Experience with detail part / assembly design.
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • The candidate is not expected to be an expert, but should have knowledge in the fields of technical design and fabrication of metallic/composites materials.
  • Experience with design/integration of air vehicle platform(s) or aerospace components
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mechanical design of Electromagnetic/RF components, electrical packaging, power system layout, and circuit board design.
  • General knowledge in fundamental EM theories
  • Experience in design for additive manufacturing
  • Experience managing various programmatics of projects (schedule, costs, procurement activity)
