About The Position

You will be the Mechanical Assembly Inspector for the production team. Our team is responsible for performing a variety of inspection operations on mechanical parts and installations, including completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices, and detail parts across prototype, development, and production programs. As the Mechanical Assembly Inspector you will be responsible for conducting inspections using visual, layout, and conventional measurement techniques and equipment to ensure that all mechanical components meet strict quality standards.

Requirements

Working knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work on a team
High school degree or equivalent
Must be able to: o Read and interpret Engineering drawings o Use precision measurement equipment o Use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Inspecting mechanical parts, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices, and detail parts
Utilizing visual, layout, and conventional measurement methods and instruments
Documenting inspection results and generating reports

Collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
