The Mechanic Helper is responsible for performing his or her assigned duties safely and in a manner that ensures the airworthiness of the aviation product is maintained. Specifically, he or she is under the immediate and direct supervision of the Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Vocational school enrollment
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to read and understand technical documents in English
- Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist other workers engaged in servicing, repairing, and overhauling articles
- Disassembly and reassembly of parts
- Clean parts
- Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures
- Assist with various tasks throughout the shop such as, painting, cleaning room support, building maintenance, etc.
- Perform other duties and warehouse support as described or assigned
