This role involves using engineering drawings, performing various composite repairs, and handling essential repair materials. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of composite materials and processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience.
Nice To Haves
- Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Repair, replace, and rebuild composite parts
- Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify composite parts
- Accomplish wet lay-up repairs
- Accomplish elevated temperature repairs
- Understand quote process
- Knows all standard chemicals, epoxies, sealants, resins, pre-pregs, composite repair materials and their associated MSDS
