About The Position

As an Electric Shop Technician, your primary responsibility is troubleshooting and repairing commercial aircraft electrical components. This role involves utilizing various tools, equipment, and precision tooling to maintain and enhance the functionality of electrical systems. Additionally, you will be required to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics solder electronic devices and perform troubleshooting and repairs on various electromechanical systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various equipment and precision tooling related to electrical actuation (e.g., Multimeters, oscilloscopes, dynamometers, load cells).
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics.
  • Solder various electronic devices.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and build wire bundles, including fiber optics, electrical connectors, and removal/installation of connector pins.
  • Repair and troubleshoot linear, rotary, and pneumatic electro-mechanical actuation systems.
  • Install seals, O-rings, backup rings, bearings, and bushings.
  • Inspect and verify conformance of finished work pieces to OEM specifications before release.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
