Meal Services Assistant
About The Position
Wendell Foster is interested in hiring an energetic Meal Services Assistant for our Dietary Department to join the team of #DifferenceMakers! What matters to you: New hourly rate starting at $14.71 Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday- 10:30am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5:30pm Overtime availability 8 paid holidays each year Double time pay for holiday hours worked Earn Paid Time Off (PTO) Full benefits including; medical, dental, and vision insurance effective the first of the month after 60 days and pet benefits. 403b retirement-automatic 2% company contribution plus company match up to 3% after 1 year of employment and 1000 hours worked One times your annual salary life insurance coverage at no cost to you Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is free to all employees and their immediate family members. Tuition reimbursement program available On-the-job training Employee recognition give-a-ways throughout the year What matters to us: High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred Experience in meal service area preferred Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals Perform the following duties including but not limited to: 1. Prepares and serves meals, snacks and beverages according to WF policies and procedures and state and federal regulations 2. Prepares, cooks and serves hot or cold meals following daily nutritional requirements, physician’s order and individual preferences, as indicated on the individual’s meal card 3. Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Experience in meal service area preferred
