About The Position

The MDS Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the comprehensive assessment and care planning process for residents. This position involves assisting in the collection, organization, and entry of clinical and functional data to ensure accurate Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentation. The assistant works closely with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to gather necessary information that informs residents of care plans and regulatory compliance. Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and clinical documentation.
Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
