Requirements

Previous experience in floor care or housekeeping, preferably within a health care or skilled nursing facility environment.
Basic knowledge of floor care products, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent cleaning standards.
Physical capability to perform manual tasks including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and deep cleaning of all floor surfaces including washing, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain cleanliness and safety.
Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and polishers in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
Inspect floors regularly to identify areas requiring special attention or repair and report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
Adhere strictly to infection control procedures and health care housekeeping standards to prevent contamination and ensure a sanitary environment.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption to residents and staff.
