About The Position

Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time About the Role: Marketing within Boston Scientific is rapidly evolving as our markets become more complex and as we focus on a broader set of customers and stakeholders including physicians, hospital administrators, payers, and patients. Within the Interventional Spine (Pain) business, we develop innovative solutions that help physicians treat patients suffering from chronic pain. This internship provides MBA candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting strategic, analytical, and cross-functional initiatives across Product Management and Marketing in a fast-paced medical device environment.

Requirements

  • Must graduate between December 2026 and May 2027
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN Boston Scientific location

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Interventional Spine (Pain) business within Product Management and Marketing
  • Be partnered with a mentor, aside from your manager
  • Contribute to projects that impact strategic priorities such as: Customer insight generation Product and portfolio strategy Growth strategies and new business development New product development and commercialization optimization tactics Market development initiatives
  • Be evaluated for a full-time offer following your internship
  • Leading or supporting a comprehensive market assessment to gather unique customer insights through direct and indirect customer interactions to understand and influence: Future technology opportunities, segmentation, and rate of adoption Physician behaviors, procedural workflows, and experiences Product selection criteria and key buying factors
  • Contributing to the development of a commercialization plan by: Building dynamic market and financial models to analyze the impact of strategic options Developing segmentation, product positioning, value propositions, and pricing strategies Investigating and recommending new services and solutions
  • Execution of market research to support the development of new products, including: Analyzing market size, segments, product usage, dynamics, and trends Conducting competitive assessments of products, technologies, pricing, distribution, and positioning Execution of primary and secondary market research
