This project is related to Business Development and Product Marketing for Quantum Computing. Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of experience in the following areas: product marketing, business development, market research, competitive analysis, financial analysis, and valuation.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of experience in the following areas: product marketing, business development, market research, competitive analysis, financial analysis, and valuation.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research Deeper dive into quantum hardware and software ecosystems
  • Competitive landscape analysis (startups, enterprises, academic labs)
  • Track funding trends, partnerships, and government initiatives
  • Modeling Quantum Opportunity Build comparative models across modalities (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic, neutral atom, etc)
  • Incorporate cost scaling, performance metrics, and adoption timelines
  • Use proxy data from semiconductor history for scenario planning
  • Evergreen Financial Model Develop a dynamic model for Applied's quantum collaborations
  • Include sensitivity analysis for different partnership structures (JV, licensing, co-development)
  • Integrate market size projections and ROI scenarios
  • Foundry Project Support If Foundry materializes, assist in project planning and resource alignment
  • Prepare financial and technical feasibility assessments
  • Partnership Strategy Identify potential collaborators (startups, universities, consortia)
  • Draft partnership frameworks and value propositions.
  • Business Case Development Highlight gaps and opportunities for Applied
  • Build go-to-market scenarios for quantum-enabling technologies
  • Assess risk factors and mitigation strategies
  • Draft a whitepaper or internal blog on “Applied's Role in Quantum Manufacturing”
