About The Position

Overview The Strider is responsible for the upkeep of the Two bin system. Through strict adherence to the CLEAR Supply daily management system (DMS), the Strider ensures that the Two bin program functions efficiently by upholding standards, performing stocking of the Two bin on nodes, and addressing customer needs in a timely and precise manner Responsibilities Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions Uphold and follow standard work processes, procedures and work instructions Maintain all aspects of the CLEAR Supply System through the DMS Maintain and stay up to date on huddle board daily Sweep, straighten and keep work spaces clean, adhering to the tenets of lean methodologies and 5S Manage customer requests and concerns through the QCN process. Create and maintain strong relationships in clinical areas where CLEAR Supply System is Implemented Consistently communicate with leadership on all status updates, required resources and assistance, barriers, and all other applicable instances Participate in daily team huddles to ensure CLEAR Supply operations are meeting the needs of the end user community and continuously improving Support a safe working environment, including compliance with all regulatory requirements and all other hospital, state, and federal safety policies. All other duties and assignments required to meet the needs of Huntsville Hospital Health System

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/certificate of completion or GED required. Some college preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and the ability to use effective interpersonal and teamwork skills when working with a variety if people and situations.
  • Must be able to organize work load, accomplish goals and objectives, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to establish priorities, required and follow up in problem solving.
  • Must have quality orientation and be attentive to detail.
  • Good written communication skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Material handling equipment experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in supply chain operations preferred.
  • Health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
