Materials Mgmt Analyst (Materials Mgmnt Analysis) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ. Position Responsibilities: Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers Investigates complex ordering conditions Develops and implements new ordering methodologies Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations Creates complex schedules Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute Works under minimal direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee This position is for 1st shift.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or 10 plus years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Production Control, Materials Management, or Supply Chain roles.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-site programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with process mapping, KPI development, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Boeing’s Production Control and Materials Management systems and processes (Compass Contract, MES, Time and Temperature Materials.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting logistics and materials management (e.g., ITAR, FAR/DFARS).
