Job Summary Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain function within an organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
- Experience in supply chain management 8-10+ years required
- Experience in leadership role 3-5 years required
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, supplier management, and procurement practices.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and achieving measurable results within the supply chain function.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive management to set strategic direction, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of the supply chain function.
- Assess and qualify suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and other relevant factors.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, monitor performance, and drive supplier development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize purchasing decisions, monitor supplier performance, and manage supplier contracts.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce carrying costs.
- Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Collaborate with logistics partners, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and distribution.
- Performs other duties as assigned
