Job Summary Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain function within an organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Experience in supply chain management 8-10+ years required
  • Experience in leadership role 3-5 years required
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, supplier management, and procurement practices.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and achieving measurable results within the supply chain function.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive management to set strategic direction, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of the supply chain function.
  • Assess and qualify suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and other relevant factors.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, monitor performance, and drive supplier development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize purchasing decisions, monitor supplier performance, and manage supplier contracts.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce carrying costs.
  • Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and distribution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
