About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our team based in Auburn, Washington on 2nd Shift. Selected candidate must be available to work: (2nd Shift hours vary upon need) The selected leader will support shop floor Expeditors and MMS employees working within the Emergent Operations (EO) business unit. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Fulfillment or Manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience in leading teams and/or managing projects
  • 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Must be able to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • 1+ years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or System Application and Product (SAP) system
  • 1+ years of experience in expediting product through a production system to meet emergent customer demand
  • 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Responsibilities

  • Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Leads, develops and motivates employees.
