About The Position

ITW Residential Mechanical Fastening offers a broad range of professional grade tools and fasteners for numerous construction applications. Our products include structural wood fasteners (GRK Fasteners™), concrete anchoring systems (Tapcon®, Red Head®, Ramset®), underlayment screws (Backer-On Rock-On ®), self-drilling screws (Teks®) and drywall anchoring systems (E-Z Ancor®). ITW Residential Mechanical Fastening excels in meeting the growing demands from Pro end-users for high-quality home improvement and construction fastening products. This position is responsible for independently performing material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks in a warehouse environment. The Material Handler II operates powered industrial equipment, uses warehouse systems accurately, and supports daily operations by ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate movement of product. This is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
  • Forklift experience and certification required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of scanners and warehouse systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday), with overtime and occasional weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED, preferred
  • Experience with Navision or similar ERP/warehouse management systems, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately within established productivity standards.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Replenish inventory within racking locations to support order flow.
  • Stage pallets and materials for picking, shipping, and production.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including reach truck, sit-down forklift, and power walkie, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Use scanners and warehouse management systems to complete inventory transactions accurately.
  • Participate in scheduled cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy efforts.
  • Perform assigned audit and quality checks independently to ensure orders and inventory are accurate.
  • Support production, shipping, and receiving operations as needed to meet daily business needs.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in accordance with facility standards.
  • Follow all ITW safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process or efficiency improvements.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
