About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler/Fitter to join our team in Houston, MS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials efficiently and assisting with fitting tasks to support production and maintenance operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a material handler and fitter or in a similar role.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with fitting tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is a plus.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and properly store incoming materials and supplies.
Transport materials to designated areas within the facility safely and efficiently.
Assist in fitting, assembling, and aligning parts as required.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
