About The Position

The Materials Expeditor will be responsible transporting equipment assembly pieces around the production site. Position will be working with aerial, construction equipment, and heavy & light duty trucks. He/she must be willing to learn and having a strong attendance record.

Requirements

Excellent attendance.
Positive attitude and works in collaboration with other CTOS team members to get projects complete.
Attention to detail and quality standards to get it done right the first time.
Understanding and reading of blueprints preferred.
Possess knowledge of and ability to identify fabrication industry metals.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work well with team members.
Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continual improvement.

Nice To Haves

Have a current Driver’s License.
Have good and reliable transportation.
Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing and vision protection, steel-toed shoes/boots and other appropriate protective clothing.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, store, and distribute company material and equipment.
Inspect incoming material for damage.
Move material to designated storage area.
Ensure material is properly and safely stored to prevent spoilage or waste.
Distribute material to appropriate departments.
Assist in inventory taking.
Cleaning up shop and keeping inventory
Filling and preparing customer orders for shipment.
Operating heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and processing machinery.
Performing other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
