About The Position

Responsible for the stocking and distribution of all purchased and produced materials required for the manufacture of RAM Aviation, Space, and Defense products. Responsible to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. All stockroom activities will be completed under the direction of the stockroom supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
Should be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain a high attention to detail and multitask
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Working knowledge of computers
Ability to use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
Lift/Carry 10 lbs. or less _F 11-20 lbs. F__ 21-50 lbs._ O 51-70 lbs.__
Must be able to sit and stand constantly _F_ Will handle/finger constantly _F_

Responsibilities

Stock and distribute all purchased and produced materials as required through the computer system
Interface with the Production Department and Inspection Department for adherence to the production schedule
Maintain a high standard of inventory organization
Responsible for cycle counting activities to assure accuracy of inventory levels
Must be able to use computer to enter inventory data
Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
Prepare items for shipment
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials
Determine shipping method for materials
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and damages
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
Deliver or route materials to other departments
Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
Performs other duties as assigned
