About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Materials & Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics and warehouse operations at our Jacksonville and Mayport facilities. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for driving excellence in team performance, process efficiency, and material management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize logistics, warehouse, rental, and transportation operations, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple functional areas. Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve company and departmental performance metrics, meeting targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness. Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, supporting internal and external audits and surveillance. Manage material management systems, maintaining a minimum of 95% inventory accuracy and meeting MMAS criteria. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, analyzing data and implementing changes to enhance team performance and process efficiency. Provide training and development opportunities to ensure staff expertise and compliance with ISO procedures. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to 6S standards and ensuring high-quality audit and surveillance outcomes. Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Logistics Expertise: Successful experience in distribution and logistics management, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to manage vendor performance, ensuring effective partnerships and optimal service delivery.
  • Technical Skills: + Proficient in standard logistics software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Analytical and Organizational Abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Autonomy and Adaptability: Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics leadership roles.
  • Preferred: Master's degree.
