The Material Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting setting up on all machines and issuing/transferring materials incoming and outgoing within the Suncoast Chemical Production Departments. This associate will coordinate with the department supervisor or team leader throughout the day to ensure that all material is adequately supplied to reach departmental production goals. On a daily basis our Material Support Specialist: Assist line setup for all lines in any department. This will consist of bringing in raw materials, hanging super sacks, and any product left over after the run will need to be reconciled and transferred out to the warehouse. Monitor pails, lids, masters, and any other materials needed to ensure production stations are adequately stocked throughout the shift. Physically count items before transfers, reconciles, and RTS. Perform quality inspections of incoming materials received from the warehouse and ensure all incoming materials is staged in an organized and safe manner. Monitor the inventory of materials in the production area and replenish. Assist the inventory supervisor tracking the counts of incoming/outgoing materials and making appropriate adjustments. Strong communication skills with department supervisor and team leader and communicate to appropriate sources of any unsafe condition. Operate the Dayton hoist and follow procedure and operate the AS400 system. Able to palletize, wrap, write an inventory ticket, scan finished products, and ensure each material is palletized in accordance with specifications. Maintain good housekeeping throughout the shift to ensure a safe and clean environment. Any other duties, as assigned.
