Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer. In this role, you will work on our Generalist team in the areas of non-metallic, metallic, and hazardous materials; assist with coordinating engineering activities with other functional teams in order to meet program requirements; support the release of material and process specifications, review of engineering drawings, and approval of suppliers, processors, and products; and provide direct M&P support to assembly and fabrication operations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Material Science
  • Experience with hazardous materials
  • Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
