The Material Program Manager (MPM) is responsible for managing Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities within the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) portfolio. This MPM will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and the program’s integrated product teams, or equivalent organizations. Key responsibilities include the following: developing and implementing material strategies, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, evaluating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments, and development/support of ROMs/proposals.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in operations, program planning, estimating, or compliance in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • EVMS certification.
  • Previous experience with financial acumen, supplier negotiations, and execution of cost reduction opportunities.
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Special Access Program Applications and Office 365 programs.
