Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology Team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. This is an onsite role, based in Tucson, AZ.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience with Finance, Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts.
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Planning and executing sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments and/or Modifications.
  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
