About The Position

Raytheon Company is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. The Material Program Manager will create and execute material program strategies and plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. In this role you will be taking a proactive stance in making informed SCM recommendations to Program Management on risk mitigation, methods of procurement, material strategies, and supplier management. This is a hybrid position based in Tewksbury, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts.
  • Excellent reporting/communication skills.
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Planning and executing sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (Flow Down Attachment) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
