About The Position
Join our manufacturing team as a Material Planner, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our plant running efficiently. You’ll manage raw material inventories, solve discrepancies, and work closely with production to keep inventory accurate and operations running smoothly. This position is required to regularly walk through the production area and warehouse for inventory purposes.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of inventory, materials, or planning experience
- Strong Excel and SAP skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a great team player
Responsibilities
- Create, distribute, and maintain daily production and inventory reports using Excel and SAP.
- Monitor material usage, investigate variances, and communicate findings promptly to management.
- Manage vendor updates, process purchase orders, and review invoices for accuracy.
- Research and recommend new vendors as needed.
- Serve as the point of contact for purchasing maintenance parts and plant supplies.
- Assist with labeling and packaging of outgoing products.
- Support general administrative tasks and collaborate across all departments.
