Requirements

2-5 years of supervisory experience in the warehouse industry
Experience managing warehouse or manufacturing operations
Proven experience motivating and training staff
Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management
Strong service/quality mindset
Professionalism
Proven computer skills

Responsibilities

Manage a team of Material Handlers
Interview, hire, and train employees
Oversee the daily workflow and schedule assignments
Operate forklifts and move goods and materials around warehouses and other industrial sites
Operate machinery including Forklifts and Tuggers
Ensure aisles remain clear by cleaning and sweeping the floor and removing empty pallets, loose cardboard boxes, and various types of debris.
Empty waste and recycled bins
Assist with production line as needed.
Assist with janitorial cleaning responsibilities such as, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Loading and unloading materials from various vehicles
Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
Following written instructions and keeping records
Adhering to health and safety regulations
