What You Will Do: Material Handling & Inventory Management Obtain and transport materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Organize materials in stock areas in a neat, orderly manner. Use scan guns to track inventory, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies. Assist with managing and reporting inventory levels to maintain accurate stock records. Remove empty boxes/flats and maintain a clutter-free environment. Shipping & Receiving Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas. Assist with ship confirming orders and receiving finished goods/raw materials. Perform packaging tasks as required to prepare products for shipment. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately. Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Perform daily checklists/inspections on forklifts and report any issues to management. Follow proper procedures to prevent damage to equipment and goods. 5S & Safety Compliance Apply 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean and organized work area. Abide by all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE. Report unsafe conditions or potential hazards to management. Maintain awareness of limited-climate-controlled plant conditions and adapt work accordingly. Teamwork & Additional Responsibilities Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks. Perform tasks as outlined on training matrices. Carry out other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
  • Willingness to work overtime and in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform basic math (counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and follow unsupervised written or oral instructions.
  • Comfortable working in limited-climate-controlled environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred (not required).
  • Forklift experience (with ability to pass forklift certification) preferred.
  • Experience using scan guns or similar warehouse technology preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred; CDL is a plus.
