Material Handler - 1st shift
About The Position

We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler: Essential Functions · Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area. · Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed · Responsible for complying Good manufacturing practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area. · Properly put away any warehouse loads · Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department · Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns · Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor · Create and Receive TOP’s \ POP’s if needed · Schedule appointments \ answer emails and phone calls
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift
- The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs
- Positive attendance record
- Safe operation of stand-up and sit down fork truck
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.
